The Ways Of Expressing Emotions According To Zodiac Sign

Each zodiac sign has its own characteristics, and those characteristics shape the people born under them. Not all people can express their feelings the same way, and expression of emotions heavily depend on the zodiac sign a person is born under. Your expression of emotions define who you are and your zodiac sign reveals a lot about you and your emotions.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)

People born under this sign are bold in their attitude and don’t hide their emotions unless they feel themselves to be the weaker one. They never like anyone to know their weaknesses, and when they feel sad about anything, often gets expressed as anger or frustration. However, if one hurts them, one will not come to know about it easily.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus people generally tend to hide what they feel unless they feel really terrible and they cannot handle it anymore. Otherwise, they don’t like to deal with their emotions much and tend to let things go. They are not the sort of people who will ask help from others to deal with their feelings.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Geminis are sociable beings, and when they face a problem, they try to reach out to their loved ones. If they cannot find help, they get disturbed easily. These people often put things as they are and do not try to hide their emotions from others. However, if at all they cannot express what they feel, they isolate themselves and fall into depression.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancers, symbolized by crabs, are one of the most complicated Zodiacs and these people don’t know how to deal with their emotions. They don’t like to burden others, so, they don’t reach out to others always. Either these crabs get clingy when they are upset or stay away from the crowd for some time. It is difficult to know what you get from a Cancer, but if they are in trouble, they will always like it if someone gives them a hug.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Leos are passionate beings and will never hold back their feelings. However, their emotions can be overwhelming at times and it becomes difficult for others to deal with the lion’s feelings. Sometimes, these people care only about themselves and how they feel. They always mean well for others, but sometimes, they end messing things up.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Virgos are pragmatic beings and deal with their emotions also in a very practical way. These people rarely express themselves fully, and if they are upset, they comfort themselves in their comfort zone, be it their home or a favorite cafe. They always try to get over their emotions as quickly as they can, so that they can find a solution later. Virgos cannot deal much with too deep feelings and move on to take action so that they can relieve themselves of the emotions they feel.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Libras love balancing things out, so they often hide what they feel in order to care for what their loved ones feel. They do not like to cause any mess, so they often repress their true emotions. However, if their emotions become too overwhelming for them to handle, those repressed feelings can hurt their loved ones and cause a lot of emotional trouble.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

These people have a lot of mood swings and their emotions are so strong that they often don’t know how to deal with their feelings. Their feelings are turbulent, and they end up messing things up when they cannot handle what they feel. The best way to deal with Scorpios is not to provoke them in any way. They are revengeful, and they bottle their feelings up until a terrible end occurs.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

People born under this sign are passionate individuals, but they don’t like to show what they feel. They feel a lot, and often feel sad and depressed, which they don’t like anyone to know. If they are hurt or angered, they will blow things up, but they will try to solve the problem later.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Capricorns are analytical and practical beings, but they try to analyze the smallest of the issues. They don’t let their emotions take over their being; however, they repress their emotions and want everything to be perfect. It is better to be careful of them as their frustration or sadness end up exploding while they try to hide what they feel.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

It can be tough to understand the deep emotions that people born under this sign feel because they don’t know how to put their feelings across. They try to distract themselves from what they truly feel and end up breaking down due to something that hurt them months ago. Most of the times, if they are sad or frustrated, they like to socialize with friends so that they keep themselves their true feelings on hold.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

The dreamy people born under this sign can find themselves lost in their own heads. They need to go out and get themselves busy to keep themselves away from dwelling with their emotions. Depression, sadness, anxiety, and frustration can easily take control over their being as they are very sensitive in nature. In such situations, letting their feelings out in a healthy or creative way help them out of an emotional breakdown.
It is not true that people will always act the same way and express their emotions only according to what their zodiac signs say. However, most of the times, their characteristic expressions are somewhat similar to what their zodiac signs tell.

Can You Make Happiness a Habit?

"Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions.’ ~Dalai Lama"

I’m not one who believes you can be happy all the time, but I have learned you can be happy much of the time.

And that’s not something that depends on how your day is going or how others treat you — it depends on what you do on a regular basis.

I remember being unhappy most days, at one point in my life. It wasn’t because I hated the people in my life — I had a lovely wife, great kids, other wonderful family members and friends.

It was because I was unhappy with myself, and that caused growing debt problems, unhappiness with my job, health problems and more. I felt like I couldn’t change any of that.

Then one day I sat down and made a list.

I make a lot of lists — it’s one of my favourite habits — but this list seemed to have a magical power. It was a list of the things I was grateful for.
Amazingly, there were a lot of stuff on the list, from things about my wife, kids, relatives, and friends, to things about my job, about nature around me, about my life.

This list was magical because I went from feeling a bit depressed about everything, and hopeless and helpless, too much happier. My mindset shifted from the things I didn’t like or didn’t have, to the things I was really happy I had. And I was in control.

Since then I’ve experimented with many habits and have found a couple things to be true:

#First, a handful of activities can actually make you happy.

#Second, if you incorporate them into your life on a regular basis (make them into habits), you’ll be happier regularly.

And those might seem to be small realisations, but actually, they’re huge.

The Habits That Make You Happy

So what habits make you happy? Try doing these on a daily basis, and see if you get the same results:

1. List 3 Good Things About Your Life Right Now

My wife Eva and I started a daily evening ritual, at about 7 pm each day, where we take a moment to tell each other three good things about our day.

We didn’t invent this, but it serves as at least one time in your day when you focus on what you’re grateful for.

This can create a mental habit of gratitude that you can use other times in your day when you’re focused on the things you don’t like or have — when you feel this, think about something you do have, that you love.

Find a way to be grateful, and you’re happier.

2. Help Someone Out

When we focus on ourselves, and the woeful state of our lives, we are self-centered. This shrinks the world to one little place with one little unhappy person.

But what if we can expand that worldview, and expand our heart to include at least one other person? Maybe even a few others? Then we see that others are suffering too, even if that just means they’re stressed out.

Then we can reach out, and do something to reduce their stress, put a smile on their face, make their lives easier. Help at least one person each day, and you’ll find your entire perspective shifted.

3. Meditate—Even Just for 2 Minutes

I’ve called this the Fundamental Habit because it affects everything else. Meditate for just 2 minutes a day, and you’ll create a habit that will allow you to notice your thoughts throughout the rest of the day, that will help you to be more present (unhappiness comes from not being present), that will help you notice the source of anxiety and distraction.

That’s a lot that can be accomplished in 2 minutes! Sit every morning when you wake, and just notice your body, and then your breath. Notice when your mind wanders, and gently return to your breath. You become the watcher of your mind, and you’ll learn some useful things, I promise.

4. Exercise and Move

Everyone knows you should exercise, so I’m not going to belabour this point. But it really does make you happier, both in the moment of exercise (I’m exerting myself, I’m alive!) and throughout the rest of the day. Exercise lightly, if you’re not in the habit yet, and just for a few minutes a day to start out. Who doesn’t have a few minutes a day? If you don’t, you need to loosen up your schedule a bit.

There are a number of other habits that also help: mindful eating, drinking tea, doing yoga, socialising with others. But these incorporate meditation (they’re more active forms of meditation) and exercise and helping others and gratitude (if you’re doing it right).

So I wanted to list the most basic habits, and then you can expand to other areas.

How do you form these habits? One at a time, starting as small as possible, with some social accountability.
Set these habits in motion.

You’ll notice yourself becoming more present, more grateful, more other-focused. The shift that results is nothing short of a miracle.

"Happiness begets sex, not the other way around."

We did talk about with 3 different women with different professional backgrounds.

Men aren’t the only ones who feel self-conscious about how often they’re having sex. (Wait: You do, right, people? I know nothing about you. I kind of just assumed.)
When a woman complains to her friends that she has a rough patch with her boyfriend, the first thing they’ll ask is if you’re still having sex, and how often. And if you’re talking to the absolute wrong friend like Jenna, who has sex five nights a week with her banker boyfriend.

She claims to have a job (in PR) but also has a flexible enough schedule to attend regular 4 p.m. classes at Physique 57 on weekdays—the number will elicit some kind of judgment.

She’ll wrinkle her nose: Only twice a week?  -  Yes, Jenna.
That means you guys aren’t in love with me and Morgan Stanley IV.
Not necessarily, Jenna.
It’s true that the “happier couples have more sex” theory has gotten a lot of play, but earlier this month, a study at Carnegie Mellon found that nobody actually bothered to look into whether the correlation between sex and happiness was a chicken/egg thing rather than cause and effect. They split 64 couples, with various sexual frequencies, into two groups. They asked Group A to keep their sex lives the same, and Group B to have twice as much sex as they usually did.
To the researchers’ surprise, by the end of the study, Group B’s energy and enthusiasm had declined, and moreover, the sex “wasn’t much fun.” Couples are happiest, it seems, when they have sex exactly as often as they want to, without being forced into an upswing. For Science—or, for that matter, by passive-aggressive shaming from their own Jenna, who never seem to factor in the real world when it comes to the frequency of sex in a committed relationship.
To put it more colorfully, as a recent newlywed friend Laura tweeted at me when I did a call-out for this piece: “Is this supposed to be not a lot of sex? Because if so, I need to have a sit down with my vagina.”
The continued emphasis on sexual quantity over quality for committed couples is the reason that women like Christine - 26, are self-conscious about the frequency of sex in their perfectly happy relationships. “When I've discussed my frequency with friends who are having sex more frequently than I am, I have felt pitied (in the nicest way possible).”

"Happiness begets sex, not the other way around."
When she and her boyfriend moved in together three years ago, they went from having sex every night to once a week, occasionally twice. “Sometimes I reassure myself this is totally normal, and other times I get pretty bummed out about it,” explains Christine. “A lot of the time I blame myself. Like, ‘Oh, you just HAD to finish the entire bottle of wine. You just HAD to pass out on the couch.’” Ultimately, however, she says, “There are a lot of positive things about our relationship that seem to have out-shined any strain the infrequency initially put on our relationship.”
Echoing Carnegie Mellon’s findings, she adds, “When [the sex] first decreased, we talked about it and kept telling each other we'd try harder to have sex more often. I'm not sure if we both gave up or just got used to the infrequency.”
Caroline 26, has lived with her boyfriend for two years. They have sex one or two times a week—a pretty typical number, based on conversations she’s had with her friends. And she and her boyfriend are both cool with: “Sometimes I just feel too gross when I'm on my period (though we both are okay with period sex), and sometimes he's just super-stressed and in his head. Only a few times has one of us been like, Hey, it's been kind of a while."

As the Carnegie Mellon team discovered, happiness begets sex, not the other way around. If you or your partner is overwhelmed at work, dealing with family issues, or generally coping with real-life struggles, your sexual frequency may decline—but that doesn’t mean you’re in a bad relationship. Especially if you start feeling its effects.
“If my husband and I don't bang one out at least every week, we get crabby with each other and fight over the dumbest crap,” says Lisa, 21. “Then we realize why we're acting like teenagers, and make an effort to fit in a sex night.”

“If I feel like too many days have gone by without us having sex, I'm definitely aware of it,” agrees Veronica, 25, who has been dating her boyfriend seriously for two-and-a-half years. They have sex two to four times a week, a decline from the four to five-times-per-week they’d bang when they first started dating. “He's happy with [the frequency], although I'm sure if we had a few weeks of just twice a week, he'd be disappointed.” (And, she admits, “I’d freak out a little.”)
But on the bright side—if this is a bright side—not a single woman I spoke to said that she had a better (read: more orgasmic) sex life when she was single. “I couldn't get my ‘itch scratched,’” says Lisa, “But my husband is pretty great at scratching.” And Veronica’s sometimes-monastic experience as a twentysomething single woman in New York is really common: “I'd go through random dry spells of like a month or two without so much as kissing someone, let alone having actually interacted with a penis.”
Orgasms, for many women, are elusive, and understanding this should shift the focus onto quantity rather than quality—if you’re having sex with your boyfriend once a week, and having an orgasm, why should that indicate your relationship is inferior to someone who sleeps with her boyfriend five nights a week and doesn’t come at all? It shouldn’t Jenna:)
